An effective compensation method is to increase the pressure ratio of the turbocharger. In addition, automotive engines, whether diesel, gasoline or natural gas, must improve their responsiveness in order to meet the emission regulations of National III or above, so the turbocharger must be miniaturized. Vehicle engines have a wide variation threshold of air flow, especially gasoline engines, which require the matching compressor to also have a wide high-efficiency area. Because of this, turbochargers are developing in the direction of high pressure ratio, high speed, high efficiency and light weight, and new supercharging systems such as two-stage supercharging, variable section supercharging, electric auxiliary supercharging, and sequential supercharging continue to appear , and has been fully developed.
